ADDITION & INTERIOR RENOVATION

This design showcases the talent of dennis kowal architects when a tight site, restricted budget, and an uninspired existing building are the givens. An existing painted concrete block interior was provided new life through new lighting, new ceiling shapes, columns and trim details. Views and natural light were added to the building through bay-shaped additions which increased the floor area and provided light-filled reading nooks. The completed library nestles into the site like a reader, their book and a comfortable chair.
